After gaining 15 years of experience in the legal industry Andrea founded LegalTypist in 2001. At the time, her scope was providing secretarial and administrative services to attorneys within her local community. But the concept grew.
Today, Andrea uses her vast experience with single practitioners, entrepreneurs, virtual assistants, small and mid-sized law firms, medical practices, private investigation services, insurance agencies, and even a bar review course to provide a greater depth of knowledge and service. She understands that each business has individual goals, needs, and challenges. She has researched, compiled, and tested technology to find the most effective, efficient systems for digital dictation.
Andrea's top-notch team of highly qualified Digital Assistants (DAs) work flexible hours—including evenings and weekends—to handle tough deadlines and keep the work flowing for every client.
As a Master Virtual Assistant and Certified Ethics-Checked VA, Andrea lives and works by high standards of ethics and quality. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, using the most effective technology, and protecting the confidential nature of every document.
The mother of two, Andrea lives on Long Island with her husband, their border collie mutt, a cat, and the goldfish that her son won at a fair (which have miraculously outlived their life expectancy of a week or two). In her spare time, Andrea enjoys camping, cooking, and hanging with her family and friends.
